Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make Cannabutter that serves as an example of how the Magical Butter Machine works.
Ingredients
These are the ingredients you will need:
- 2 – 5 cups softened/ melted unsalted butter (clarified butter is optional but recommended for best results)
- 14 – 28g decarboxylated cannabis per cup of butter
- 1 tablespoon Magical Sunflower Lecithin per cup of butter (optional but highly recommended)
Clarifying The Butter
Clarifying butter means that you should slowly heat all the butter you will use without burning it or stirring it in a pan on a stovetop or in a double boiler. After some time, you will see a white coating forming on top of the melted butter. These are called milk solids, and they can make your Cannabutter go bad faster.
Slowly scoop as much milk solids as you can with a spoon and discard. What remains is your clarified butter. As previously stated, this step is optional, but it will aid in producing the best results.
Decarboxylating The Cannabis Flower
You cannot simply pick cannabis flowers from the plant and use them in your Cannabutter; they must first be dried and then decarboxylated. Step 2
Look for the temperature button and set it to 160 °F/71 °C. Then press the “2-hour butter” button.
Step 3
After 2 hours, your machine will make a sound to indicate that it is finished. You can now take the PurifyFilter (fine mesh bag) and position it on top of a bowl or jug. Take your mixture and pour it through the PurifyFilter.
Step 4
When all the mixture is poured through the bag, you can set the machine aside. Take the PurifyFilter and squeeze out all the Cannabutter from the plant matter as much as you can. After you are done, you can discard the plant matter.
Step 5
You should now have a jug or bowl full of melted Cannabutter that you can pour into your MagicalButter Trays or simply store in a container. Refrigerate your Cannabutter for several hours or overnight. After that, you will have beautiful green Cannabutter.
How To Clean The Magical Butter Machine?
Now here is one of the best parts of the Magical Butter Machine, you do not need to clean it, because it cleans itself! All you have to do is add a cup or two of water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid, then close the lid.
On top of the device, you will find five (5) buttons, and one of the buttons will read “Blend and clean”. Press this button, sit back, and relax. It will make a sound when it is finished cleaning itself, and then you can open the machine and dump the water.
