When it comes to operating the device, you can choose between draw activation or button activation. Simply click the button five times to turn the device on or off. 

The A3 series also introduces a button-lock function – press the fire button twice and prevent misfiring the device. This is especially useful for those who utilise the draw-activation mode, as your device will not be able to fire until you switch off the lock.

Device Performance

The A3 device makes use of 1.0 Ω pods with Uwell’s signature PRO-FOCS technology. This system allows the device to recycle airflow through its atomizer core, making the airflow condensed with flavour.

The drawing experience of your device can be best described as a medium MTL draw, just as most devices in the A series. It works well with mid-strength nic salts (around 20 mg to 30 mg) or 9 mg to 12 mg freebase e-liquids. These ranges of e-liquids provide a solid throat hit.

When it comes to coil life, the pods last for around 20 ml of e-liquids before you need to replace them. This is a very good coil lifespan for smaller devices. However, it depends on which e-liquids you use, as nic salts take more toll on coils.

On top of that, pod leakage and condensation is no issue with the A3. When using suitable e-liquids, you will be completely fine in terms of clean and secure pods. 

Long Lasting Battery Life And Fast Charging

The A3 battery is rated at 520 mAh, just like the preceding A2 range. You can get through around a pod and a half (3 ml +) before charging is necessary, an improvement on the A2 series due to the compact design of the A3.

Whereas the A2 range takes about an hour to charge, the A3 device takes an incredible 15 minutes to fully charge! The device also supports pass-through charging, so you can still vape while the device is charging.

Battery Indication

The A3 has a bright LED light near the bottom of the device so that you can easily check your charge levels while vaping or charging. The battery indicator works as follows:

• Green: 60% to 100% battery life remaining
• Blue: 30% to 60% battery life remaining
• Red: 0% to 30% battery life remaining / in need of a charge

Once the device has finished charging, the LED will stop pulsing and remain green.
