When batteries reach the end of their lifespan, they no longer hold enough charge to be useful, and you need to replace them. If your device has a decreased run time and does not want to start after charging, the battery might be finished. Many devices have removable batteries that can be disposed of, but some devices have built-in batteries and need to be completely replaced.
Your Device Overheated While It Was Charging
