As vaping becomes an even more popular practice, it is no surprise that celebrities have started picking up on the habit. With a variety of flavours, customisations, and overall benefits when compared to cigarettes, many celebrities have also adopted the practice of vaping. Here is a list of celebrities who are not discreet about their vaping practices:

Leonardo DiCaprio

One of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio, is also one of the most well-known advocates of vaping. His career as an incredibly successful actor means that he cannot get away with much without having the public informed. He has been seen vaping e-cigarettes as early as 2009.

Since then, he has changed his vaping setup to buildable devices and can be seen puffing away at A-list events and on set. He is also one of many celebrities that have made the switch from cigarettes to vaping, and is most often seen with a box mod setup.

Katy Perry

After releasing her debut single in 2008, the I Kissed a Girl singer/songwriter Katy Perry’s fame  has skyrocketed ever since. She was seen vaping in public for the first time around 2011, opting for the healthier option in her efforts to quit smoking cigarettes. 

Katy Perry is usually seen with a simple vape pen setup when out in public and at awards such as the Golden Globes. She switched to vaping to prevent damaging her vocal cords from smoking, a change many singers seem to make. As part of her inner circle and the father of her child, Orlando Bloom has also been spotted taking a few hits of Katy’s vape.

Johnny Depp

As a celebrity with a rock star status, it comes as no surprise that Johnny Depp indulges in the act of vaping. He is even listed as one of the first celebrities to vape on screen, as seen in the 2012 movie The Tourist, where he puffs on a cigalike. 

Captain Jack Sparrow also made the switch to vaping to quit his prolific smoking habits. He has shown a preference for mod tanks and sub-ohm vaping, and has been spotted puffing big clouds all around.

Dan Bilzerian

The Instagram icon, Dan Bilzerian, is a big vaping enthusiast. He has been spotted vaping nicotine and cannabis products throughout the years. This poker player is such a big advocate for vaping that he stepped into the industry and created his own vaping brand. It is no surprise that he remains loyal to his brand and only uses his own products.

Zack Efron

Known for incredible body transformations for movie roles, such as Baywatch, it makes sense that Zac Efron prefers to consume nicotine through vaping to avoid the issues that cigarettes may cause on fitness levels. He can also be seen vaping on screen in films like Dirty Grandpa. When out in public, Efron can be seen with a sub-ohm tank, letting loose some pretty impressive clouds.

Lady Gaga

The singer and actress, Lady Gaga, has reported that she used to smoke up to 40 cigarettes per day. The Poker Face singer switched to an elegant vape pen to quit this intense smoking habit, which she has reported is much easier on her lungs and vocal cords.

Bruno Mars

Yet another singer that made the switch from cigarettes to vaping, Bruno Mars, made a promise to his mother to choose the healthier alternative. He has preferred using cigalikes and vaping pens to avoid the temptation of going back to traditional cigarettes, and has even invested in specific vape manufacturers.

However, the Uptown Funk singer shocked the audience at the 2022 Grammy Awards when he seemed to light a cigarette on stage. It is not confirmed that he has picked up smoking cigarettes again alongside his vaping habits.

Tom Hardy

Tom Hardy has been seen glued to his vaping devices on multiple occasions. He can be seen vaping in public, during interviews, at events, and on the set of major productions like Peaky Blinders and Venom. He seems to switch between a range of different devices and accessories, from mod boxes to bullet drip tips. 

Robert Pattinson

The man of many genres and Batman of 2022, Robert Pattinson, has been vaping since 2012. He swapped out cigarettes for the healthier lifestyle choice of vaping, and has most often been spotted with slick vape pens.

Samuel L. Jackson

The actor from Goodfellas and Jurassic Park is one of the biggest celebrity vaping enthusiasts. He loves posting pictures of his vaping endeavours on Twitter, sporting bulky devices and big clouds.

Jack Nicholson

Jack Nicholson has been spotted vaping cigalikes in public. He frequently clutches to his device during sporting events and signings.

Katherine Heigl

The Grey’s Anatomy star has shown that she is not afraid to show off her soft spot for vaping. She even took a few puffs during her appearance on The Tonight Show with David Letterman. She is usually seen with slim and elegant vape pens.

One of the most famous members of the Kardashian family can be seen vaping on several occasions, but it seems that she prefers to be a bit more secretive. She has even posted some Snapchat videos of her puffing habits, but she has since deleted these.

The renowned fashion designer, Marc Jacobs, is known as a real “vaporista” on social media. He has reported that his favourite vape flavour is anything that includes the taste of churros.
